Coastal Cafe and Bakery is located in Historic Downtown Searsport, just a short walk from Mossman Park and the Searsport Dock. Searsport is located just 6 miles north of Belfast, on the pristine Penobscot Bay. Our restaurant and bakery serves made from scratch pastries, including in-house Croissants and Puff Pastries (pinwheels are our specialty, we even make our own puff!) We also have baguettes baked fresh daily, with other breads available throughout the week. We are a small cafe/restaurant and as such both owners work in house, so you can be assured that every item that leaves our place is under strict quality control.

We have a full breakfast menu that includes many american favorites and after food service begins at 8AM we serve it for the rest of the day. Our lunches are mainly Mediterranean, and many of them vegetarian. We serve home-made soups, and sandwiches. Our menu varies with the seasons, and with what is locally available for purchase. We believe in supporting local companies and do business with many of Maine’s great food suppliers and producers. Our summer 2014 menu features Crepes and a variety of salads, as well as Patrick’s personal favorite… Shark Stuffed Tomatoes.
During the week our cafe opens at 7AM with pastries and drinks (closed on Tuesdays), and begin breakfast service at 7AM, moving onto lunch at 10:30AM. We strive to use local fresh ingredients wherever possible, and spend a lot of time throughout the year sourcing our meats, cheeses and vegetables locally here in Maine.
